而在PSP版《吉他天堂 4 極限搖滾》中，要同時一開始的樂曲也比較容易，隨著游戲的進行玩家就需要不斷提高水平，到了中等難度偶爾就需要用四個按鍵演奏了。最終隨著曲目的難度逐漸加大，玩家使用全部五個按鍵的次數將越來越多。而在高級難度下，你將經常用到你那不太靈巧的小手指，你需要用它按下第五個按鍵。等到了專家難度，你的手指將不斷地在吉他柄上滑行，力圖按到全部五個鍵。即使這樣也不意味著你已經可以通過整個挑戰了。事實上專家難度非常非常難，特別是當彈奏獨奏曲目的時候。但是如果你已經努力通過了其他難度的挑戰，相信你也會喜歡這些越來越難的新挑戰的！
